Pillow Talk

The Tank

If you were to ask me about what project defines me as an artist I would say that would be my directional work on the play Pillow Talk by Cory Sapienza. Pillow Talk follows Ty, a gay trans man as he moves through his sexual and romantic life and asks us to examine how being trans both greatly impacts and doesn’t matter at all when it comes to Ty’s sex life.

    Snow Bird

    Brooklyn Art Haus

Snow Bird at Brooklyn Art Haus marked my first project post graduating Circle in the Square at it really was a special one. I got to assistant direct under the guidance of the lovely Em Haussmann and help lead a team of entirely trans elders

      Much Ado About Nothing

      NYU

I had the absolute privilege of severing as the Intimacy Director for NYU’s MainStage production of Much Ado About Nothing. I always adore working with students and inspiring the next generation to be kind to each other and explore intimacy in a safe and repeatable way.

        Bull in a China Shop

        Theatre Lab

Doing intimacy direction for Bull in a China Shop was a special challenge as it was my first time creating choreography for two different casts of actors. It was really special to learn what different actors brought to the same movement and make the modifications needed to let each actor shine.
